Greg Cagle

PT, MSPT, MBA, LDP, FDN-Cert, Vestibular Certified Therapist, Co-owner
Greg completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Mary, in Bismarck, ND, where he lived for 15 years. He also completed two master’s degrees at the University of Mary; one in Physical Therapy, and the other was a Master’s in Business Administration. Greg has a passion for orthopedic care, and has even worked with a semi-professional hockey team in the past, as well as professional athletes. Greg is level 2 certified in functional dry needling, providing an advanced level of needling techniques. He also has a vestibular certification, enabling him to work with vertigo patients and patients that have damaged the inner ear, with events, such as a vestibular concussion, as is common in sports. Greg also brings in advanced training techniques and the skills needed to provide grade V joint mobilizations. He is passionate about high level care in physical therapy and will serve you with excellence. Greg loves spending time with his family and friends, being outside, hiking, biking, and enjoying life.

Mariah Heaton

DPT, Co-owner
Mariah grew up on a small farm in North Dakota, and was active not only on the farm, but also in sports and music. She attended undergraduate school at the University of North Dakota, and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She has experience in a wide variety of PT settings including traumatic brain injury facilities, geriatrics, pediatrics, workman’s compensation and orthopedics. She moved to Rapid City in 2015, and joined the team at The Physical Therapy Center. Mariah is level 2 certified in functional dry needling, which allows her to add another skill set to the care she provides her clients. Mariah has experience treating pelvic floor dysfunctions, temporomandibular joint dysfunctions, and vestibular issues in addition to many other orthopedic and neurological conditions. She is a level 1 credentialed clinical instructor, and helps students in the physical therapy profession. She loves spending time with her family, friends and animals. Her hobbies include photography, hunting, traveling, painting, and hiking.

Erica Krump

PT
Erica is originally from Rapid City and is excited to be back in her hometown. She has previously worked at The Physical Therapy Center as an athletic trainer, personal trainer, physical therapist technician, and now physical therapist. She completed her Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. During her time at SDSU, she helped with various athletic teams including SDSU football, baseball, and wrestling. Erica then attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During her time there, she discovered her passion for not only general out-patient physical therapy, but specifically, pediatric physical therapy. One of her goals is to become a Board Certified Pediatric Physical Therapist and continue her passion in pediatrics. Erica has experience in early intervention PT and out-patient pediatrics. Outside of physical therapy, Erica enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring the Black Hills through hiking, kayaking, camping, trail running, and snowboarding.

Kyle Scharles

PT, DPT
Kyle is originally from the finger lakes region in upstate NY known as Canandaigua. He also spent a good part of his childhood growing up in Cheyenne WY. After graduation, Kyle went on to further his education with Ithaca College, also in upstate NY, earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. During his time there, he was a 4-year starter for the Ithaca College Bombers, as a defensive lineman, and later inducted into the collegiate hall fame in 2009. Kyle then spent the first majority of his career with Wyoming Orthopedics and Sports Medicine where he gained great experience in a wide variety of orthopedic and sports related conditions for most ages. Kyle is certified in level 1 dry needling with goals of advancing those skills, along with becoming a certified orthopedic specialist and manipulative therapy expert. He moved to Rapid City, SD in 2019 with his wife, children, and convoy of ranch critters. In his free time, you can find Kyle hanging out with family and friends at the ranch, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, or enjoying everything the Black Hills have to offer outdoors.

Kelli Olmsted

OT
Kelli Olmsted was born and raised in small town North Dakota. She has two siblings, an older brother and younger sister. Kelli attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, where she studied Occupational Therapy. She graduated in December of 2003 with a master’s in Occupational Therapy and a minor in Business Management. Kelli did most of her clinical rotations in the Black Hills and moved here permanently in 2003. Kelli has been working as an Occupational Therapist for the past 18+ years at skilled living facilities. Although the therapy companies changed, she was at the same facility, Bella Vista/Avantara Saint Cloud, for the length of her career. Through her years there, Kelli was a strong advocate for those who suffered from Alzheimer's and Dementia, and she wore many hats including staff OT, clinical specialist in Dementia and Sensory Integration, clinical instructor, mentor, and Director of Rehab. In addition to these many roles, she has written and often presented on the topic of sensory integration and dementia. Kelli has attended a variety of continuing education courses to ensure she is able to provide for and serve her patients to the best of her abilities, while providing a holistic approach. She has also earned certification for Lymphedema and continues to focus on learning and furthering her skills and practice. Kelli and her husband, Bryan, have two energetic boys, Blake and Kade. She spends much of her spare time watching and cheering them on at their many sporting events, which include basketball, baseball, track, and golf. She also enjoys hiking with friends and family in and around the Black Hills and is often accompanied by her dog, Kimber.

Paul McMahon

PTA
Paul completed his undergraduate degree at Iowa State University in Kinesiology. He then went to Western Iowa Tech where he received his degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Paul is interested in strength and conditioning, sport injuries as well as orthopedic injuries. In his free time, he likes to explore the outdoors, work out and spending time with family and friends.

Kelly Mullis

PTA
Kelly is a graduate of Valdosta State University where she received her B.S. in Exercise Physiology. She then attended Darton State College where she received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Kelly’s practice areas of strength include orthopedics and geriatrics, but she is always eager to learn and take on new challenges. When not working, Kelly enjoys hiking, kayaking, and exploring the Black Hills with her two dogs.

Noni Henry

PTA
Noni completed her B.S. at Montana State University in exercise science. She then went to Great Falls College where she received her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. During her time at MSU Noni was a member of the cheerleading squad. After working closely with collegiate athletes she then developed an interest in sports injuries. But she is eager to learn and gain more experience. In her free time Noni enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. She has a passion for traveling and adventure which she hopes to do more of in the future.

Jennifer Smith

Personal Trainer
Jennifer has been a Personal Trainer for 11 years. She is originally from Nebraska, growing up on a ranch, and has lived all over Nebraska, Colorado and Hawaii before moving to Rapid City, with her husband and mini dachshund, December of 2022! She has worked with all fitness levels from beginners to Marines and Navy athletes. She most recently started working with Wounded Warrior units and has trained two Air Force Wounded Warriors for competition. She is a reconditioning specialist that completes your rehab journey! Nichole Buchholz

Marketing Coordinator
Nichole grew up, for the most part, in Rapid City and graduated from Black Hills State University in 2006 with her B.A.S. in Mass Communications with the emphasis on Photography. She has her own photography business that she started during college and continues this passion today. When she's not working she enjoys spending time outside with her pup Abbie, her kids and husband. She has even spent some time at The Physical Therapy Center recovering from her multiple injuries from her running days, she enjoyed her time here so much, she stayed. Nichole has a love for coffee, cooking, dogs, watching football and baseball, and is always up for an adventure and trying new things.

Megan Jones

Office Manager
Hi my name is Megan Jones. I grew up here in Rapid City, South Dakota. I am married with two step-children, Raylee and Tucker. We also have two fur babies, Jency and Macy. If we are not busy at work you can find us at some kind of field, whether it be softball, baseball, or football watching the kids play. I have always worked in customer service and hospitality, and I am very excited for this opportunity to work with The Physical Therapy Center.

Ginny Tocci

Patient Coordinator
My name is Ginny Tocci. I was born in Massachusetts but moved to SD at the age of 4. Graduated from Central High School in May of 2008 and had my son, Ezekiel, in October the same year. I also have a stepson Adrian who will be 10 in April. I was a CNA for people with Alzheimer's/Dementia for 5 years and decided to step away to be more family oriented. My other half and I have 2 dogs, an Old English bulldog and a Yorkie mix. I love spending anytime I can, outdoors, with my family. We love to play cornhole, catch, go hiking, camping, fishing, and swimming. My 2 ultimate things to do is go riding in the hills on the bike and I love the diamond paintings. I'm excited to be a part of The Physical Therapy Center team.
