Greg Cagle

PT, MSPT, MBA, LDP, FDN-Cert, Vestibular Certified Therapist, Co-owner
Greg completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Mary, in Bismarck, ND, where he lived for 15 years. He also completed two master’s degrees at the University of Mary; one in Physical Therapy, and the other was a Master’s in Business Administration. Greg has a passion for orthopedic care, and has even worked with a semi-professional hockey team in the past, as well as professional athletes. Greg is level 2 certified in functional dry needling, providing an advanced level of needling techniques. He also has a vestibular certification, enabling him to work with vertigo patients and patients that have damaged the inner ear, with events, such as a vestibular concussion, as is common in sports. Greg also brings in advanced training techniques and the skills needed to provide grade V joint mobilizations. He is passionate about high level care in physical therapy and will serve you with excellence. Greg loves spending time with his family and friends, being outside, hiking, biking, and enjoying life.

Mariah Heaton Varcoe

DPT, Co-owner
Mariah grew up on a small farm in North Dakota, and was active not only on the farm, but also in multiple sports and music. She attended undergrad at the University of North Dakota, and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She has experience in a wide variety of PT settings including traumatic brain injury facilities, geriatrics, pediatrics, workman’s compensation and orthopedics. She moved to Rapid City in 2015, and joined the team at The Physical Therapy Center. Mariah is level 1 certified in functional dry needling, which allows her to add another skill set to the care she provides her clients. She is also a level 1 credentialed clinical instructor, and helps students in the physical therapy profession further their schooling. She loves spending time with her husband, bonus children, nieces, nephews, friends and dogs. Her hobbies include photography, hunting, traveling, painting, and hiking.

Luke Skiff

DPT
Luke is a Spearfish native, however, prior to graduating high school he moved with his family to the state of VA. He has always had a love for SD and the Black Hills and is excited to return home. He is a graduate of Southern Virginia University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Arts. He then attended West Virginia University and graduated in 2016 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Luke then began his career in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting, where he has worked in clinics in historic locations, such as Lexington and Winchester, VA. Luke’s interests have been in orthopedics to tackle challenges to help others. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, along with refinishing old furniture, hiking, biking, and numerous other outdoor activities and hobbies.

Kelly Mullis

PTA
Kelly is a graduate of Valdosta State University where she received her B.S. in Exercise Physiology. She then attended Darton State College where she received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Kelly’s practice areas of strength include orthopedics and geriatrics, but she is always eager to learn and take on new challenges. When not working, Kelly enjoys hiking, kayaking, and exploring the Black Hills with her two dogs.

Paul McMahon

PTA
Paul completed his undergraduate degree at Iowa State University in Kinesiology. He then went to Western Iowa Tech where he received his degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Paul is interested in strength and conditioning, sport injuries as well as orthopedic injuries. In his free time, he likes to explore the outdoors, work out and spending time with family and friends.

Chelsi Neely

PTA
Chelsi received her Associate of Applied Science Degree majoring in Physical Therapist Assistant from Volunteer State Community College (2020) in Gallatin, Tennessee. During her time in school Chelsi has worked for a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist in Nashville, TN. Moreover, worked in a gymnastics gym with young athletes where she was around multiple orthopedic conditions. Through these settings and clinical experiences she has developed a passion for assisting clients with orthopedic conditions. Chelsi is originally from Mount Juliet, Tennessee and in her personal time she enjoys doing Crossfit and bodybuilding style training, trying new foods, hiking, and playing with her dog; Dawson.

Lisa Juran

M.S. Kinesiology/Personal Trainer
Lisa completed both her undergraduate degree and master’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of South Dakota. She has her Personal Training Certification and specialist certifications in Fitness Nutrition, Weight Management and Orthopedic Exercise. She has 3 years of personal training experience and loves working with all different ages and abilities. Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband exploring and watching sports. In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, playing sports (volleyball, pickle ball and basketball) and spending time with family and friends.

Nichole Gust

Marketing Coordinator
Nichole grew up, for the most part, in Rapid City and graduated from Black Hills State University in 2006 with her B.A.S. in Mass Communications with the emphasis on Photography. She has her own photography business that she started during college and continues this passion today. When she's not working she enjoys spending time with her kids, boyfriend and maybe two other people, being outdoors and running. She has even spent some time at The Physical Therapy Center recovering from her running injuries, and she enjoyed her time here so much, she stayed. Nichole also has a love for coffee, dogs and is always up for an adventure and trying new things.

Tarah Hobbs

Office Manager
Hello my name is Tarah Hobbs. I am new to the Physical Therapy Center. My husband Cole and I moved to Rapid City ten years ago from Ventura California. Quickly we settled in and bought a house in Rapid Valley, rescued our first dog “Bella” (who is now 14 years old) began to make Rapid our home. Six years ago we got our next dog “Cooper”. Cooper was the puppy that would prepare us for our biggest adventure yet. PARENTHOOD!!! Carter our 4 year old son was the biggest surprise….a dream come true. Our family enjoys being up in the hills fishing, camping, and hiking. We are really into gardening and we all seem to share the same passion for art and being creative. I am so happy to call the team at PTC my new family and look forward to many happy years to come.

Hi my name is Megan Jones. I grew up here in Rapid City, South Dakota. I am married with two step-children, Raylee and Tucker. We also have two fur babies, Jency and Macy. If we are not busy at work you can find us at some kind of field, whether it be softball, baseball, or football watching the kids play. I have always worked in customer service and hospitality, and I am very excited for this opportunity to work with The Physical Therapy Center.
