When Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy are utilized together, you will see your rehabilitation excel further! Physical Therapy can improve the quality of life after injury or surgery and assists patients in getting from point A to point B. An Occupational Therapist can improve those patients’ function at point A and point B in order to function at the highest possible level. Our Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists focus on what matters the most to the patient, whether it’s independence when putting on shoes, being able to feed themselves, dressing, playing sports, returning to work or anything else that bring them joy.
People have an ingrained need and desire to be able to take care of themselves. We want to be able to take care of those basic tasks such as feeding, dressing, bathing and toileting. Our Occupational Therapist strives to assist patients in regaining these skills, assisting with designing compensatory techniques to improve their ability to function, and be as independent as possible.
